Job description

The successful candidate

will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment that aligns with the teachings of the Catholic faith. This position requires dedication to academic excellence, social development, and spiritual growth. A strong understanding of the BC Curriculum is important, as is a solid understanding of assessment. There will be many opportunities to plan and collaborate with the other Kindergarten teacher. The successful candidate will expected to be able to : Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the BC curriculum and integrate Catholic values. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes a sense of belonging and respect among students. Provide individualized attention to each child, recognizing and addressing their unique learning needs. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to create a cohesive educational experience for students. Integrate faith-based teachings into daily activities and create opportunities for spiritual development. Organize and participate in school events, including parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and other community activities. All applicants must have : Valid BC Teaching Certificate. Bachelor's degree in Education Specialization or experience in early childhood education is highly desirable. Strong commitment to the teachings and values of the Catholic faith.
