We are seeking a Lead Field Service Technician
The primary focus is to provide commissioning and service support for Honeywell's security system and Building Automation HVAC systems
Key Responsibilities
- Working with sub-contractor and the customer to ensure seamless installation and commissioning of Honeywell Security and HVAC Systems.
- Troubleshoot and solve system and process related problems.
- Perform sensor verification and calibration.
- Publish commissioning reports for customers including Results Reports, Correction Action Reports.
- Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensures customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
- Provide guidance, mentor and train Jr Field install Technician
- Escalation of any potential issues / delays related to scope / timeline and budget
- Ability to travel within Ontario (up to 10%)
YOU MUST HAVE
- 3+ years electrical / security / instrumentation / HVAC controls experience
- Post secondary diploma in a technical field
- Full class G drivers license
- Must be able to meet customer required vaccination policies as applicable
- Basic knowledge of IT networking systems
- 1+ year of experience using Basic Windows and Microsoft Office experience
WE VALUE
- Previous Commissioning or Construction experience
- 5 years of experience maintaining Security systems or Building Automation systems
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems
- Capable of writing, reviewing, and / or editing various types of technical reports
- Able to conduct formal meetings with customer management personal
- Knowledgeable of system architecture and operations as well as applicable database items needed for basic maintenance and calibration
