Horizon Recruitment Inc . is seeking a Global Category Manager to lead sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement optimization for high-value contracts. This role partners with senior stakeholders to align procurement with business objectives, drive supplier performance, and deliver strategic cost savings.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute global sourcing strategies, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Lead contract negotiations, supplier performance management, and cost optimization for large-scale agreements.
- Act as a key liaison between procurement, operations, and executive leadership, advising on sourcing strategies and supplier selection.
- Manage negotiations for large EPC, construction, and complex service contracts, ensuring best contracting practices.
- Manage sourcing strategies for technical services and large-scale operations, ensuring efficiency and risk mitigation.
- Monitor market trends, assess risks, and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
- Ensure supplier compliance with corporate policies, sustainability goals, and governance frameworks.
- Implement best practices in contract management, supplier performance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Present insights, recommendations, and strategies to senior leadership.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Business, SCMP or a related field.5+ years managing contracts; large EPC, construction, or technical service categories.3+ years of executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.Experience in procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiations.Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.Proficiency in SAP, SAP Ariba, and enterprise procurement systems.Remuneration :
