As a Program Manager, you will be playing a pivot role in overseeing and coordinating various projects and initiatives that span across the LBC enterprise.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the successful planning, execution and delivery of programs aligned with the strategic objectives of the bank.
Responsibilities will also includes tracking operational status and risk level, gathering data from various sources, creating and maintaining performance indicators, reports, and dashboards for the projects.
This role requires building relationships with Business and IT partners and early identification of all requirements needed to support the new and ongoing projects.
This will be achieved by partnering with various teams within the organization to drive consistency and lead delivery through following established methodologies and good practices.
In addition, the Project Manager is responsible for helping to ensure that projects and initiatives are defined, planned, tracked and communicated in a consistent manner #LI-Remote
LI-SM1 Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine program strategies that align with business goals;
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across the enterprise, ensuring seamless integration of program components and alignment with organizational priorities;
- Work with management to prioritize and scope scheduled activities and changes;
- Monitor progress of projects across phases by employing appropriate metrics and management reporting;
- Identify and aggregate key metrics to measure projects performance, health, organization risk, and activities;
- Help facilitate risk assessments, maturity assessments, and evaluation of controls and measurements against policies, standards and processes;
- Work with functional leads to support projects that span across multiple functions;
- Ensure policies and procedures are met when sourcing, managing, and maintaining projects;
- Completes operational and technical documentation required for project implementations;
- Optimize the allocation of resources, including budget, personnel and technology to maximize program efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive change management activities ensuring that teams are equipped to adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the banking programs., fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
Qualifications :
- 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry such as personal and commercial banking, lending, investment services and 5 to 8 years of experience in project management.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
- Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and PMO practices;
- Understanding of modern web based applications and architecture including cloud infrastructure;
- Ability to utilize key facilitation skills with technical, managerial stakeholders to communicate issues and risks and arrive at appropriate solutions and plans;
- Strong understanding of financial industry, banking operations and regulatory requirements.;
- Exceptional communication, presentation, active listening, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Strong time management skills; excellent follow up skills required
- Solid experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Visio, JIRA and SharePoint;
- Experience using relevant software tools.
- Bilingualism written and verbal (French & English) is an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Ideally ITIL
- Qualifications Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matterswith internal and external parties in both languages
