Robert Half is hiring now for a QA Analyst for to fulfill a contract / temporary role for our Edmonton Client. As the successful Candidate you will work provide direction for automated testing, recommend testing tools, provide unit and system testing, and design test cases for user acceptance testing to ensure user requirements have been evaluated, and defects have been recognized and resolved. You have strong experience in analysis and defect management processes and ability to make recommendations and then implement the process. Our client is based in Edmonton, AB., but this role is open to remote work concessions for eligible candidates.

Job Requirements : MUST HAVE :

• 4 + years of relevant work success in a similar role with hands-on test automation experience
• Proficient working experience isolating, tracking and management of defects in order to provide direction for automated testing and recommended testing tools
• Good understanding of testing methodologies (unit and system testing)
• In-depth working knowledge for designing test cases for user acceptance testing
• Exceptional interpersonal skills along with solid skills in verbal and written communication
• Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments, prioritize projects, set and meet deadlines
• Must be highly motivated with great attention to detail and providing quality results.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical skills, excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
• Post-secondary degree in computer science, business administration or equivalent
