Steward (April to October)

Support a skilled and engaged team as a Steward where your care and inspection of all flatware tableware and kitchen equipment will ensure a superior standard.

What you will be doing :

Reporting to the Chief Steward responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :

• Follow stewarding policies procedures and service standards
• Ensure plates cups glasses silverware pots & all cooking utensils are cleaned using the appropriate machinery
• Remove garbage and compost from kitchen
• Follow the duties assigned by shift supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stewarding kitchen areas
• Supply equipment requirements for kitchen and outlets
• Following all safety and sanitation policies
• Adhere to all LQA standards set up for the department
• Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the companys established grooming policy
• Embrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions
• Other duties as assigned

Visa Requirements :  Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
