Job Title: Senior Business Project Manager

Location: Downtown, Toronto

Working arrangement: 4 days a week in office

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Project Manager to lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that support enterprise-level business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution skills who can influence stakeholders, manage complexity, and drive measurable outcomes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale, complex business initiatives from concept through execution
• Partner with senior leaders to define business cases, success metrics, and delivery roadmaps
• Drive alignment across executive, functional, and operational stakeholders
• Establish governance, cadence, and reporting for strategic initiatives
• Anticipate risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts; proactively develop mitigation plans
• Manage budgets, timelines, and resource planning for business programs
• Mentor junior project managers and promote best practices within the PMO
• Ensure projects deliver against strategic goals, financial targets, and operational KPIs
• Present project updates, insights, and recommendations to executive leadership

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in business project management, program management, or business operations
• Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution
• Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
• Advanced proficiency with project and portfolio management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification
• Experience working in [industry: SaaS, fintech, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.]
• Background in change management, process transformation, or business strategy
• Experience managing large budgets and vendor relationships
