WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As the Lead Product Manager on our Platform team at RBCx, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and manage our product analytics strategy for our portfolio companies.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in working with cross-functional team leaders and engineering teams on various portfolio companies and internal product leaders, ensuring effective implementation and reporting at the highest level.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with subject matter expertise in scale-up and website metrics and business intelligence software and tooling.

As part of a cross-functional team, you will bring a strategic mindset in building partnerships with key stakeholders and be able to navigate a fast-moving and complex organization.

Your contributions will have a company-wide impact on creating strategic insights, driving data-informed decision-making and provide a platform for your professional growth.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Strategic Insights Leadership : Define and execute the product roadmap for analytics platform services, aligning with the company and portfolio company OKRs and market opportunities.

Cross-Team Collaboration : Work closely with product, engineering, and data analysts, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure seamless development of key business metrics and successful business outcomes.

Benchmark Data : Lead the integration of third-party benchmark data to enhance the understanding of business performance and create targets within expectations.

Informed Decision Making : Define, monitor, and analyze business performance metrics to track and make data-driven informed recommendations to enhance business outcomes.

Centre of Excellence : Train internal teams and external partners on new metrics and reporting tools and produce training documentation in videos, FAQs, internal wikis, etc.

Actionable Insights : Develop mechanisms for reporting key learnings to stakeholders, tracking progress against goals, and providing insights for possible improvement.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have :

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, MBA preferred.

Product Experience : 8+ years in work experience, with at least 6 years focused on scaling businesses, platforms or SaaS products and services.

Work Experience : In high-growth startups, top-tier consulting firms (Big 5), or venture capital / private equity environments.

Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of data visualization and data analytics and working with Business Intelligence software such as Looker or Tableau.

Leadership : Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals with influence and limited authority.

Strategic Thinking : Exceptional strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies

Communication Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders including executive leadership.

Nice-to-have :

Self-Starter : Proven ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple priorities, independently contribute, ability to deal with ambiguity, and execute consistently in a dynamic environment.

Financial Services and Banking : Well-versed with banking and financial products such as credit cards, payments, accounts, and debt services.
