Key Responsibilities for the Job :
Accounts payable Accounts receivable Progress billing Cheque runs & EFT management General ledger posting account maintenance and AP sub-ledger AP monthly reporting and payables tracking Review and verify invoice coding and system posting Resolve complex payment issues with vendors and internal contacts Review and improve policies and procedures Other duties as required
Skills & Attributes for Success :
Post-secondary education in business or accounting 3 – 5+ years’ versatile, hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and QuickBooks is preferred Superior time management and attention to detail Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Self-starter with a motivated work ethic and the ability to work efficiently in an independent role
