Join a top employer and advance your career. Our client, a leader in the trailers field, has partnered with Aplin to hire a Regional Sales Rep based in the Ottawa region.
Responsibilities :
- Sales and Product Knowledge :
- Promoting trailers, trailer parts and accessories, and other services to potential buyers.
- Providing sales pitches and answering questions about the products.
- Educating customers on the features, benefits, and uses of different trailers.
- Customer Interaction :
- Greeting customers and discussing their needs.
- Advising customers on the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase or rental.
- Estimating or quoting prices, financing options, and warranties.
- Coordinating sales invoices and shipping orders.
- Checking in with customers after the sale.
- Offering maintenance tips and support.
- Encouraging repeat business and referrals.
- Dealer Interaction :
- Cultivating positive relationships with new and existing dealerships and their staff.
- Understanding the dealership’s needs and goals.
- Collaboration with Coworkers :
- Collaborating with other branches on sales and transporting products.
- Travelling to other branches as needed.
- Advise Management :
- Produce reports on customer needs, market trends.
- Provide feedback on existing products and services to Managers.
- Identify new product and service opportunities.
- Monitor competitor’s pricing and product offerings.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bilingual in English and French : Proficiency in both languages to effectively communicate with customers and team members.
- Valid Driver’s Licence (Class G / Class 5) : Required for travel and client visits.
- Experience in trailer sales or a similar role : Demonstrated success in selling trailers or related products.
- Effective Communication Skills : Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues.
- Customer Service Excellence : Providing exceptional service and addressing customer needs promptly.
- Strong Time Management : Balancing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
- Negotiation Skills : Closing deals and handling objections effectively.
- Networking Abilities : Building relationships with dealerships and customers.
