Electrical Foreman

On behalf of our client, Matchbox Consulting is seeking an Electrical Foreman . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the electrical trade, with extensive experience leading crews and managing projects. The Electrical Foreman will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and supervise electrical crews on job sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.

Plan and coordinate work assignments, material deliveries, and equipment usage to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to effectively execute project plans.

Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues or concerns.

Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and building codes.

Mentor and train junior staff members to develop their skills and knowledge within the electrical trade.

Collaborate with other trades and stakeholders on Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) projects to streamline processes, enhance coordination, and optimize project outcomes.

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of experience in the electrical trade, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Proven experience managing projects with budgets exceeding $1 million.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team

Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in residential electrical projects preferred

Familiarity with industry-specific software and technology.

Additional certifications or training related to the electrical trade.
