Join the dynamic team at North America Inc., a prominent player in the transportation and logistics sector. We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist to support our 10 affiliates across North America, ensuring robust and efficient IT operations.

Job Summary

As our IT Infrastructure Specialist, you’ll work under the IT Infrastructure Manager, focusing on key areas of our IT infrastructure. Your role is pivotal in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT systems, providing the technical backbone for our subsidiaries’ operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage IT systems, including servers, network devices, and software applications.
• Configure and maintain network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls), ensuring network security and efficiency.
• Provide Level 2 and 3 technical support, resolving complex issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for IT project implementation and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards.
• Participate in and provide input to system architecture design, planning, and implementation of new systems.

Technical Skills and Experience

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure roles with hands-on experience in Configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including switches and firewalls (Fortinet, Ciscok, MikroTik). Extensive knowledge of IP, WAN, LAN, and VPN technologies.

Working with Windows Server environments (2008 – 2022), Azure cloud services, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)

Work Location :

Full-time position in either the Greater Montreal Area or Mississauga. This is primarily an on-site position with the possibility of some remote work, with the latter subject to company policies and project requirements.
