Job purpose

In this dynamic and exciting role working with Dempsey Corporation’s Customer Care and Operations teams, you will primarily support the Dempsey Operations Team in data monitoring and corrections within our ERP and CRM systems. The position requires taking the initiative and collaborating with operation team members to understand the business and obtain the necessary data for effectively resolving data issues.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Data MaintenanceMaintain quality of the data using internal and external feedback, concerns, and questions; Monitor and report on internal data quality reporting metrics; evaluating and identifying issues; providing recommendations for corrective and preventive data actions;coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.
  • General Support : Manage and prioritize timelines of operational duties, ensuring all deadlines are met or all other related duties as assigned by the in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures and ensure compliance; Identify areas of enhancement by leveraging and simplifying processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary certification in a related field (business, logistics, etc.) preferred
  • Experience working in distribution, manufacturing, inventory, sales, or logistics as an asset
  • Must have intermediate to advanced Excel skills - Fully proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Must be comfortable taking initiative and interacting with people at all levels in the organization
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems is an asset.
  • Strong Google Drive skills with experience using Smart Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills, emphasizing time management and multi-tasking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Working conditions

  • Typical pressure to meet established deadlines but the incumbent has control over the work pace
  • Typical office environment and business hours.
  • Hybrid working model : Minimum 2 days per work week in the Toronto office with a maximum of 3 days per work week working from home.
  • Physical requirements

  • Sitting, standing walking with little constraint or lifting or moving objects less than 10 pounds. Freedom of physical movement.
  • All activities are of low intensity. Infrequent periods of physical strain (i.e., less than eight times per day)
  • Regular use of fine finger movements for keyboarding, but at a pace controlled by the employee.
