Mechanical Assembler / Brazer

• permanent position DAYS up to $34 / hr to start dep. on exper.

Monday to Thursday (6 : 00am to 3 : 00pm) ; Friday (6 : 00am to 12 : 00pm)

LOCATION : Scarborough, Ontario

Qualifications : High School Diploma

Minimum 1 year of brazing experience

Proficient at repairs and troubleshooting

Able to read blueprints and assembly drawings

Able to lift 30 lbs

Knowledge of various hand and power tools

Able to work in a fast-paced environment, doing repetitive tasks

Able to multi-task and prioritize workloads

Good attendance record

Able to effectively communicate with colleagues and Supervisor

Requirements :

Assembling custom equipment using hand tools under minimum direction from Supervisor

Correctly read and interpret assembly drawings and piping and instrumentation diagrams

Effectively set up a workstation and assemble product within expected times while minimizing scrap and rework

Effectively braze and fit pipe together based on assembly drawings

Effectively insulates equipment on custom units

Comply with all safety regulations and work in a safe manner

Maintain mechanical equipment in the department

Perform duties in a timely manner

Other duties as they may be assigned
