Responsibilities

Long-term Care

• Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
• Administer direct nursing care and plan resident care in consultation with the multidisciplinary care team.
• Administering and recording prescribed medication

Home Care

• Diabetes management
• Dialysis
• IV medications
• Palliative care
• Phlebotomy
• Wound care

Core Requirements

• Current Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
