Job #4675– Our client, an established Crown Corporation, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join their team. The ideal person for this role will be a career-driven team player with excellent communication skills and experience with financial reporting and analysis. You will enjoy researching and collaborating with a small but mighty team! Reporting to the Manager, External Reporting, the main responsibilities include:

• Provide transactional analysis against IFRS standards and internal policies
• Prepare journal entries
• Draft financial statements, including supporting documentation
• Research complex accounting treatments and draft position papers
• Other duties as required

Qualifications
Mandatory:
The main qualifications for this role include:

• Completed CPA designation
• Minimum 5+ years in a progressive accounting role, with 2 years’ experience in financial reporting under IFRS
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Must have resided in Canada for a minimum of 10 years (be able to obtain Secret security clearance)

Definite Assets:

• Bilingual (French/English)
• TM1, Cognos and/or Business Intelligence

Compensation, Perks & Opportunities:

• $87,000 – $109,000 annual salary
