Job description

The position of Vice President of Sales - National Brand is crucial to ensuring the ongoing growth and success of our family-owned food company in Canada and the United States. This strategic role requires an exceptional combination of leadership, sales management, and business development skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development : Design and implement effective sales strategies to achieve the company's objectives and maximize revenue.
  • Sales Team Management : Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring alignment with the company's goals.
  • Performance Analysis : Monitor and analyze sales performance, identify growth opportunities, and address areas needing improvement.
  • Customer Relations : Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Innovation and Continuous Improvement : Propose and implement innovative initiatives to improve sales processes and remain competitive in the market.

Required Skills

  • Proven Experience : At least 10 years of successful experience in a senior sales position, preferably in the food sector (consumer goods).

  • Analytical Skills : Excellent ability to analyze sales data and draw conclusions to guide strategies.

  • Effective Communication : Strong communication skills, both oral and written (French and English), to interact effectively with clients, the sales team, and management.
