What You’ll Accomplish in This Role
Assurance & Audit
- Execute audits and reviews from planning to completion
- Develop engagement programs including risk analysis and materiality
- Apply firm audit and accounting methodologies across engagements
Tax Compliance
Prepare corporate, personal, trust, and partnership tax returnsPrepare T4 / T5 / NR4 information slips, GST / HST, EHT, WSIB, ETD calculations, and other filingsPrepare tax schedules and working papers within CaseWareFinancial Reporting
Prepare files, financial statements, and draft tax returnsDistinguish between compilation and assurance engagementsClient & Team Support
Provide coaching and mentorship to junior staffManage concurrent assignments and deadlines in a fast-moving environmentCollaborate with administration for onboarding, documentation, and workflowMaintain daily timesheets, attend meetings, and communicate engagement statusWhat You’ll Bring to the Table
CPA designation (mandatory)2–3 years of experience in public accountingExperience with IFRS, ASPE, NPO, and / or Public Sector frameworksStrong tax compliance knowledgeExcellent client service skills and relationship‑building abilityStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with CaseWare (asset)Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookWhy This Opportunity?

Compensation : $80,000 – $95,000
Location : Richmond Hill – Hybrid (3 days / week in office mandatory)
Vacation : 3+ weeks
