Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time highly organized and proactive Materials Control Coordinator to join our client’s team in Scarborough, ON.

The Materials Control Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing the flow of materials within the organization, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory control, and coordinating with various departments to meet production and operational needs.

Shift : 7 : 30am - 4 : 00pm

Responsibilities :

Plan, organize and ensure completion of regular cycle count processes in conjunction with warehouse staff and reporting variances and reasons to Controller and management.

Prepare regular inventory reports, ensuring integrity by monitoring internal transfer and shipping processes

Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient on hand supply of product to meet customer requirements and triggering production orders based on minimum quantity levels, including third party items

Receive IBT’s and ensure correct transfer and allocation of products between SMI and client warehouses

Manage external transfers, ensuring inventory levels are adjusted accordingly

Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and maintaining inventories of parts and products

Processing purchasing transactions in the system and suggesting quantities to reorder according to inventory levels and customer demands

Qualifications :

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

A post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related studies

1-3 years of experience in supply chain and inventory management

Excellent attention to detail

Self-starter with the ability to work independently

Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize to meet deadlines

Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word

Knowledge of ERP systems, and report building software
