Position Overview :

We’re looking for a talented and driven Customer Service Payment Specialist to join our team! This role is ideal for someone with solid customer service skills and a knack for building rapport with customers to recover scheduled deposits.

You will be responsible for recovering money owed promptly and expediting the delivery process. Excellent communication skills and a sense of urgency are required to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and address any issues or queries related to their outstanding balances.
  • Answer customer questions and provide information to help the debtor understand how to resolve their unpaid account.
  • Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
  • Generating reports and statements for internal use.
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, accounting, shipping, and manufacturing to ensure accurate receivables practices and prompt deliveries.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism while working to establish a positive rapport with every customer.
  • Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts.
  • Keeping up to date on deliveries and any inquiries if needed.
  • Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments.
  • Locate and contact customers to inquire about their payment status.
  • Demonstrate proactive decision-making by making sound judgment calls to determine the best course of action and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications :

  • Strong data entry skills along with a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets.
  • High degree of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and internal departments.
  • Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence.
  • Ability to work independently while managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Minimum high school diploma with a proven track record; minimum of 1 year of customer service experience .
