Job description

Who we are :

Financeit is a point-of-sale financing provider serving some of the largest home improvement and retail organizations in Canada.

Our platform helps businesses close more sales by offering customers affordable monthly payment options for their next big home improvement, vehicle or retail purchase.

We are small enough that you can make an impact within the company and large enough to make an impact in the market.

Financeit is a company where collaboration, inclusivity, fairness, and respect aren’t just ideas that get talked about, but are part of who we are. If such a workplace intrigues you, we hope you’ll join us.

About the role :

With a focus on driving sales volume in a defined territory, the Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for working with existing accounts and hunting new prospects.

This B2B role involves dealing directly with the owners, finance managers and sales teams of Powersports, Marine, Trailer and Retail businesses looking to use our consumer financing platform and programs.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned hunter comfortable with cold calling, and understands that once the deal is closed, the heavy lifting has just begun. You excel at staying organized in a fast-paced environment, balancing attention to the smallest details while keeping the bigger picture in focus, all with an unwavering commitment to customer success.

The Vehicle Regional Sales Manager will be expected to focus at least 50% of their efforts in the field, hunting new prospects and interacting with signed merchants.

What you’ll do :

  • Develop, maintain and manage strong relationships with our Brokers through a minimum of one face to face meeting per merchant per month.
  • Generate and close new leads in the Powersports, Marine, Trailer and Retail sector.
  • Re-activate existing underperforming accounts as assigned.
  • Use expert product knowledge and sales consultation to increase merchant activity.
  • Regularly update and coach partners on the Financeit program and process.
  • Execute regular training and coaching sessions with merchants.
  • Ensure compliance with our approval and risk requirements.
  • Maintain accountability through daily and weekly reporting of all sales activities.
  • Produce reports, analyze data, identify trends, and provide recommendations.
  • Communicate process and system gaps when discovered to appropriate levels of management.
  • Strive to meet individual and team targets on a monthly basis.
  • Travel is required.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with hands-on direct sales and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing successful business-to-business sales and service relationships.
  • Experience in consumer lending, SaaS or financial services is preferred.
  • Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • You must be located in Ontario, and be available to visit other provinces, mainly Alberta and BC, every 3-4 months.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Benefits

Winner of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Culture from 2018 to 2023, we offer more than just the basics. Take advantage of :

  • An award-winning culture with a collaborative & inclusive team.
  • Competitive pay and performance based bonus.
  • Committed to flexible work arrangements, offering hybrid workplace options.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage + Lifestyle Account.
