Job description

HM Note : This hybrid role is three (3) days in office and candidates must include a portfolio link in the resume

Must haves :

  • 3 years handson experience using Figma to design web application features and ets.
  • 3 years experience providing UX / UI leadership and defining best practices and odologie s : usercentered design design thinking and design sprints.
  • 8 years UX experience and nbsp; designing web applications preferably enterprise portals and websites mobile and responsive experience
  • Must have strong facilitation ss and experience leading client workshops remotely
  • Work within a fastpaced and Agile environment
  • Proven UI design ss and experience

Responsibilities :

  • Work with product management and lines of business to gather and yze customer requirements and translate them into engaging and effective UI experiences
  • Ideate and conceptualize innovative UI solutions to solve complex enduser challenges.
  • Produce personas and customer journey maps wireframes and prototypes
  • Lead design review sessions with internal stakeholders reaching consensus and getting approvals on designs
  • Work closely with frontend developers other product team members to successfully build test and deploy cuttingedge user interfaces and UI components
  • Elish product specific UI / UX vision and standards while adhering to branding and accessibility guidelines
  • Lead customer experience and usability studies
  • Perform other duties as igned by management

    • Desired Ss :

  • A degree in design or a designrelated discipline (usercentred design visual design human factors humancomputer interaction etc.) or equivalent experience
  • 10 years of experience designing web enabled digital solutions
  • Experience with UX design for Web Portals (5 years) and nbsp;
  • Expert knowledge of information architecture and interaction design usercentered design process and user experience principles and techniques
  • Demonstrated knowledge of branding layout color theory typography and photography
  • Experience in Agile Scrum user stories user flows low and highfidelity designs and prototyping.
  • Experience with UI design.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD Figma Axure 3 years
  • Experience in usability testing and accessibility compliance (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA))
  • Understanding of current and emerging technologies design patterns industry trends and standards device and browser capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal ss with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes ideas and solutions to team members
  • Comfortable working within tight timeframes and with working creatively within specific constraints.
  • An impressive portfolio of recent work demonstrating UI / UX expertise in designing web and mobile applications

    • Deliverables Include but are not limited to :

  • Using Figma design mockups and ets for a custom Web Application (Enterprise BI Platform).
  • Supporting product management and delivery with mockups and design solutions.
  • Leading and facilitating product discovery and design sessions.
  • Elish a Design System and framework.

    • Knowledge Transfer Details :

  • The Candidate will ensure full knowledge transfer is provided to the Ontario Health team before end of engagement.
  • The Candidate must provide doentation related to UI / UX design research and prototypes including source files as part of Knowledge transfer protocol.
  • Doents will be reviewed by leads and signed off by manager.
  • The Candidate should provide knowledge transfer to a fulltime UI / UX designer resource at a least two weeks prior to end of engagement.
  • A complete walkthrough of accomplished work including all design ets and prototypes to the team will be required before end of agreement.
  • All research and design ets are considered OH material and will be transferred to OH archives.
