We are looking for an Industrial Electrician for one of our clients in Beamsville, ON.
Job Title : Industrial Electrician
Position Type : Full-Time / Permanent (Full Benefits after Probation Period)
Hourly Pay Range : $40 - $43.51 per hour (Depends upon experience and knowledge)
Shifts Available :
- Morning and Afternoon Shift
- 6 : 30 am to 3 : 00 pm or 3 : 00 pm to 11 : 30 pm
- Must be willing to work 1 weekend every 4 weeks
License Requirement : 309A, 442A or 309D
Job Duties :
Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues (e.g. sensors, motors, heaters, controls, PLC / HMI, etc.) on production equipment.Perform preventative maintenance and repair of automated production lines and control systems.Monitor electrical equipment for preventative and predictive maintenance.Maintain production equipment to OEM standards.Assist with occasional installations and modifications.Support millwrights with mechanical work as needed.Utilize CMMS for work orders, spare parts inventory, and reporting.Maintain daily reporting and housekeeping standards.Adhere to professional quality and safety standards.Wear required Personal Protective Equipment and report all injuries promptly.Address hazardous conditions and report incidents promptly.Assisted in training new / junior staff and occasionally supported production tasks.Propose improvements to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost savings.Flexibility to adapt to additional tasks as assigned by management.Qualifications :
Graduate of Electrical Engineering Technician program an assetMinimum 3 - 5 years of experience in an industrial / production environment (including troubleshooting VFDs, servo motors, motor controls, PLCs, etc.)Siemens S7 300 / 500 and 1500 PLC troubleshooting and programmingAC Frequency drives (Siemens S120)Relay logic and motor controlsTemperature controllersHMI, PLC programmingReading, interpreting, and designing electrical schematics (e.g., for troubleshooting)Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, etc.)Forklift certificate an assetThanks,
