Job description

Alquemy's client is seeking a React Native Developer to join their team on a contract basis. Their flagship project involves building a state-of-the-art app with advanced real-time navigational capabilities using Google Maps.

Description

The React Native Mobile Developer will play a crucial role in developing a high-quality mobile application with integrated Google Maps functionality. Your expertise in React Native and navigation solutions will drive the development of a seamless and intuitive user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • App Development : Design, develop, and maintain our mobile application using React Native.
  • Google Maps Integration : Implement and customize Google Maps for various navigational features, including geolocation, route planning, and real-time tracking.
  • UI / UX Design : Collaborate with designers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Performance Optimization : Ensure the app performs well on both iOS and Android platforms by optimizing code and fixing performance issues.
  • API Integration : Integrate with our own and third-party APIs and services to enhance app functionality.
  • Testing and Debugging : Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs and issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
  • Code Review : Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high code quality and best practices.
  • Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code and development processes.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure project goals and deadlines are met.

Requirements :

  • Experience : Proven experience as a React Native developer with a strong portfolio of mobile apps, including those with Google Maps integration.
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and modern front-end technologies. Experience with Google Maps API and navigation features is a must.
  • Knowledge : Solid understanding of mobile development best practices and design patterns.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Communication : Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Redux or other state management libraries.
  • Familiarity with native development for iOS (Swift / Objective-C) and Android (Java / Kotlin).
  • Knowledge of TypeScript or other advanced JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience working with embedded databases such as SQLite.
