Program and Operations Coordinator at Haliburton County Development Corporation (HCDC)

The Link Project Administration Officer is a short-term contract role, eligible for a Canada Summer Jobs position (see below). This position supports the daily operations of The Link Coworking space, including customer service, marketing / social media, research, and program development.

The Link Coworking in Haliburton offers coworking, private office, and conference room rentals. The space is available for workshops, training, and events, open 7 days a week, from 7 am to 9 pm.

Reporting to the Program and Operations Coordinator, the responsibilities of The Link Project Administration Officer include :

  • Assist the Program and Operations Coordinator with daily operations
  • Provide customer service, including greeting clients, tours, booking support, wifi / technology assistance, and handling electronic inquiries
  • Maintain and optimize online booking and software platforms
  • Assist with social media content creation and website updates
  • Create draft advertisements for coworking space rentals and events
  • Create and maintain client agreements
  • Research and propose a series of workshops and programs for The Link
  • Research coworking software options and report findings
  • Research and propose partnership opportunities for The Link
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Provide feedback and suggestions based on client interactions to improve coworking space services
  • Draft The Link Operations Manual

Job specifications :

  • Location : The Link, 5152 County Rd 21, Haliburton, ON K0M 1S0
  • Compensation : $20 / hr for 35 hours / week
  • Duration : 12 weeks, from June 2, 2025, to August 23, 2025, Tuesday to Saturday
  • Eligibility : Must be aged 15-30, a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have Refugee Status, to qualify for Canada Summer Jobs
