Description : WHO YOU ARE :
Reporting to the Accounting Supervisor, the Sales Audit Analyst role supports the accounting team by ensuring that sales transactions from the POS and e-commerce systems are complete and reconciled. Ensures proper reconciliation of e-commerce, as well as debit and credit card transactions. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Perform bank reconciliations;
- Bank correspondence for all the inquiries for stores and e-commerce regarding deposits shortages, missing deposits, bank fees;
- Analyze sales, refunds, sales taxes, gift cards, chargebacks and bank fees;
- Identify system issues, recommend and implement solutions;
- Assist supervisors and stores, to correct errors made in POS;
- Apply the best accounting practices, ensuring the respect of internal policies and procedures for provincial and federal sales tax laws;
- Open and close merchant accounts and reconcile fees;
- Work with teams within and outside of the company to resolve client disputes and chargebacks;
- Liaise with the stores and customer service;
- Perform credit card sales reconciliation;
- Perform e-commerce sales reconciliation;
- Perform third party gift card (Blackhawk) reconciliation;
- Analyze bank fees for stores and e-commerce;
- Prepare Month End Reports for stores and e-commerce sales;
- Analyze the requests from supervisors for secure pick-up service for their cash deposits and charges in stores that already have this service provided by Garda;
- Ad Hoc requests.
