Fit Test Clerk – Interior Health Authority

Kelowna General Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Fit Test Clerk to join their team in Kelowna, BC.

Position : Casual (0–37.5 hours per week). Work schedule is rotating days, Monday to Friday, 09 : 00 – 17 : 00. Days off : Sunday, Saturday, Stat. Shift availability is taken on short notice or pre‑scheduled to cover leaves.

What you’ll work on : The Fit Test Clerk performs a variety of clerical and support duties within the Central Functions department.

• Conduct Powered Air Purifying Respirator, Qualitative and Quantitative Respirator Fit Tests.
• Perform data entry functions for a variety of registries and databases by entering information into software programs.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance, including replacing worn or damaged parts, disassembling, reassembling, and verifying the calibration of port count machines used for fit testing.
• Maintain statistical records such as fit testing reports.
• Send order requests to Manager and receive unit / office supplies.
• Maintain filing systems for manuals, correspondence / documents and other departmental records.
• Respond to general inquiries from staff, exercising discretion in the release of information.
• Perform other related duties and / or projects as assigned.
