Tundra Site Services is looking for Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanics with a strong background in mining & experienced with Komatsu equipment for a client in the Canadian Arctic; this is a permanent and well-serviced camp.

These positions are available immediately, can start on a contract basis, but have long-term potential in the form of either contract extension of conversion to client staff in the medium-long term. We can work with you to develop a pathway that makes the most sense given your situation. All hired candidates will undergo an evaluation period. Long-term employment strategies would be implemented only for top-performing workers; we are looking for build out a strong and cooperative team.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Red Seal HET / HD Mechanic Off-road ticket with mining / Komatsu experience
• Great attitude, organized, team player
• Willingness to work either days or nights; whichever is required by the client
• Ability to meet all pre-screening requirements including criminal record check, drug test, and medical
• A strong commitment to site safety policy and procedures
• Strong verifiable references from previous employers
