Accounting Technician

Our client is looking for an accounting technician to join their growing team. Reporting to the finance department, the accounting technician will play an essential role in carrying out daily accounting operations for several entities within the group. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial data, compliance with internal procedures and deadlines, while actively contributing to the production of reliable financial information.

Responsibilities
• Contribute to the monthly closing process by assisting the accountant (preparing entries, basic analyses, documentation, etc.)
• Perform daily bank reconciliations
• Match, verify, and record supplier invoices in the accounting systems of the various companies
• Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger
• Prepare and document accrual entries at the end of the month and at the end of the year.
• Properly file and organize invoices, supporting documents, and payments.
• Collect, verify, and record expense reports.
• Provide support to the accountant during external audits or for any ad hoc requests for information.
• Participate in various related tasks to support the activities of the finance department.
