Second set of Hands

We are looking for a loving and calm personality who understands childhood development to become a big part of our home! I work from home, my husband works out of the house, 9-4 / 6 ish. My eldest is 4 and just begun JK! I have a 7 month old (both boys) who is home with me, while I navigate work. We’re looking for somebody who can seamlessly slide into our dynamic, of supporting my role at home. This would entail light housework like maintaining kitchen, folding laundry, taking care of and engaging with baby if I’m on a call etc. This person is somebody who we would like to trust annd become a part of our family long term. We’d love to also leave you with both boys for occasional date nights, and support us in creating the family vision that we want to have!

Your role will require actively trading off with me throughout the day, so that each child gets needed love + attention, as does my work! Tasks may include, supporting 4 year old in completing a lesson plan, taking him to the park, providing lunch etc. With the baby it will may include tasks like, putting down for nap, feeding bottle and solids, changing diaper, taking for walks, entertaining during wake windows.

This person has a passion to educating, teaching, and caring for children in a very special way, knowing the lasting impact they are making on them. It is a bonus is they are a student or professionally trained teacher, ECE, or any other career that includes children’s learning and development!
