Summary Statement
These two positions will assist Fisheries Section Environmental Scientists with research throughout Delaware that target a variety of invasive, freshwater, diadromous, and marine species. Job duties for one position primarily entails assisting with finfish trawl and oyster surveys in Delaware Bay and associated data, while the other entails stocking freshwater trout and identifying, monitoring, and treating aquatic vegetation. Both positions will sample water quality, assist with maintenance of scientific equipment, operate trailer boats, enter and proof data, and process biological samples. These positions will also assist with a variety of other fisheries research projects as needed. Work hours may include early morning, nighttime hours and occasional weekends.
