A Day in the Life
The Organizational Effectiveness and Organizational Change Management Program Manager for Global Supply Chain and Operations is a critical role responsible for driving and managing strategic change initiatives within the organization. This role focuses on enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and adaptability of the Global Supply Chain and Operations department through structured change management processes. The Program Manager works closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of change initiatives, leading to improved operational performance and organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Change Strategy Development : Collaborate with leadership to define the change strategy and objectives ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Change Planning : Develop comprehensive change management plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Identify key stakeholders and build strong relationships to gain their support and alignment with change initiatives.
- Communication : Create and execute communication plans to keep relevant parties informed about change progress and impact.
- Training and Development : Design, develop, and deliver training programs to equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to adapt to new processes and systems.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks and resistance to change and develop mitigation strategies.
- Measurement and Evaluation : Establish KPIs and metrics to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives and provide regular progress reports to leadership.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement in processes and systems to support organizational effectiveness.
- Project Management : Oversee and coordinate multiple change projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with various departments and teams to integrate change initiatives into existing workflows.
- Change Implementation and Support : Collaborate with project teams to execute change initiatives according to the change management plan.
- Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of change management activities, including lessons learned and best practices; prepare progress reports and status updates for stakeholders and senior leadership; evaluate and report on overall success and impact.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Change Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Proven experience in organizational change management, preferably within a global supply chain and operations environment.Strong understanding of change management and organizational effectiveness principles, methodologies, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Project management experience and proficiency in project management tools and techniques.Analytical skills to assess the impact of changes and measure their success.Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to a dynamic environment.Change management certification (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus.Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.Experience managing complex change initiatives and projects in a global context.Familiarity with supply chain and operations processes and systems is a plus.Physical Job Requirements
