Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for Information Services and Technology for a 10-month contract with possible extension in Manitoba, Canada.

Start Date : February 10, 2025(Anticipated Date)

Remote / Hybrid : A hybrid work schedule is expected of 3-4 days working remotely

Mandatory requirements :

• UM is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst with prior experience working on large Enterprise projects.
• Prior experience working in a Higher Education environment is desired.
• Prior experience working on HRIS projects is desired.
• Prior experience working on complex projects with multiple concurrent streams of work would be an additional asset for consideration.
• Business Analysis Certification (IIBA or PMI-PBA) or Project Management Certification (PMI or Prince2). If yes, please describe :
• Certificate in Quality Management from a recognized institution. If yes, please describe :
• Years of Quality Assurance Analysis experience on Information Technology projects (please indicate years of experience and role) :
• 10 years of experience and responsibility for all aspects of Quality Assurance including requirements gathering, documentation, mapping, UAT Testing, & Test Scripting.
• 8 years of experience with translating User stories into functional and non-functional requirements and test artifacts.
• 8 years of extensive hands-on experience executing Test Scripts and documenting outcomes.
• 8 years of experience in software testing.
• Demonstrated clear understanding and knowledge of QM Concepts, Methodologies and Testing Techniques. If yes, please describe :
• Experience facilitating planning sessions / workshops with large diverse groups that include senior executive.
• Working experience at a Canadian University. If yes, please describe :
• Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for team collaboration.
• Available to work on-site at UM (Fort Gary) 1 – 2 days / week and as required.
