Controller / Accounting Team Lead

Reporting to the VP Finance and Acquisitions, The Controller will oversee full-cycle accounting operations and provide leadership support to the accounting team, ensuring financial controls, compliance and managing cash flow efficiently and accurately.

Our ideal candidate is not just a traditional accountant but a systems-savvy leader with advanced Excel skills who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, moving data between systems, implementing controls, and ensuring accuracy across accounting and payroll operations.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the following knowledge and skills :

York Property Management (YPM) manages 4,000+ residential apartment suites in Southwestern Ontario. YPM offers a variety of different layouts of suites which accommodate a diverse demographic of young couples, families, students and retirees.
