Job description

Project Title : QA Lead - Business Analyst

Duration : 156 weeks

Work Location : Hybrid (2 days onsite,3 days remote- Toronto).

Skills and Qualifications

Experience :

  • Minimum 8 years in QA, with knowledge of software lifecycle principles and QA methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating with project teams, including PMs, BAs, architects, designers, and developers.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, Windows, Unix, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, MS SQL, and Oracle.
  • At least 2 years of experience documenting requirements using models and diagrams.

Technical Expertise :

  • Strong understanding of Project Management Methodologies, Enterprise Architecture, and SDLC.
  • Practical knowledge of QA tools and techniques, including defect tracking, testing documentation, and complexity analysis.
  • Familiarity with ITIL, ISO 9000, or similar quality management systems is an asset.

    • Certifications :

  • QA certifications (e.g., CBAP) and ITIL are advantageous.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions, mentor team members, and deliver quality outcomes.
  • Public service or transit experience is a plus.
