Job Description
CEDA is currently seeking a Journeyman, Heavy Duty Technician to join the Dredging and Fluid Management team in Sparwood, BC. This is a full time, site based opportunity with camp and flights provided.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Preventative maintenance on Stationary Diesel Engines, Hydraulic Systems, Trailer Units, Dredges, Barges & Marine equipmentOngoing diagnostic and repair of diesel engines, after treatment / emissions, hydraulic systems and pumpsTroubleshoot issues, inspect equipment and replace or repair defective partsInterpret work ordersAttend daily tool box and safety meetings as scheduledEnsure all health, safety and environment practices and paperwork are complete for all day to day activitiesOther duties as assignedRole Specifications
Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal requiredExperience in hydraulic, electrical, dredge and pump systems an assetOil & Gas experience an assetValid Class 5 license with less than 5 demeritsWeight handling of up to 50 lbsAble to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol testSkills
