The Job – Cabinet Maker
Cabinet Makers at On Side rebuild and restore cabinets that have been damaged by disasters. Using traditional handheld tools or machinery in our mill shop. Once complete, cabinets are perfectly restored to their pre-damage condition. Our Cabinet Makers have a “can do” attitude, with a patient nature, and an eye for quality to ensure superior results.
What you’re responsible for…
- All types of cabinet repair work, with residential and commercial making up the bulk
- Working in the shop and out in the field
- Material and stains matching
- Hardware installation
- Trim, moldings and baseboards
- Drywalling and finishing
- Laminating surfaces
- Repairs to wooden structures of all sorts
- Inventory control
- Workflow management
- Tool maintenance
What you bring
Past industry experience that can translate to success in this job : carpenter, drywallers, painters, handyman, labourer, general contractor, building maintenance
Other stuff that’ll help you be successful but isn’t mandatory :
Of Note
Disasters can strike at any time so a rotating schedule of 24 / 7 after hours on-call work is a requirement.
