Funding is available for the Continuing Care Assistant Program at community colleges across Nova Scotia. The Nova Scotia Government covers tuition and most costs for eligible applicants. Contact your local college for details.

Working conditions and physical demands : The role requires a detail‑oriented approach in a dynamic environment, involving lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, kneeling, and other movements that emphasize good body mechanics. Employees will walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs throughout the day, with tasks requiring fine hand movements.
