The Role : Marketing & Brand Lead
We are seeking a strategic Marketing & Brand Lead to join our Innovation & Growth team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that authentically represent OneFeather's mission while driving adoption of our solutions across Indigenous communities. You will lead our brand development, oversee product marketing initiatives, and ensure our communications consistently reflect Indigenous values.
What you'll do :
Product Marketing and Positioning :
- Develop clear product narratives and positioning that resonate with Indigenous Nations and peoples
- Create and execute compelling go-to-market strategies for our solutions and offerings
- Lead product launch communications and marketing campaigns
- Establish frameworks for measuring marketing impact
- Work cross-functionally to ensure effective positioning while maintaining trust
Brand Development and Communications :
Build and protect OneFeather's brand identity and corporate narrativeOversee content strategy and thought leadership initiativesManage communications across diverse stakeholder groupsDevelop crisis communication and issues management protocolsEnsure consistent brand voice across all channelsStrategic Marketing Leadership :
Guide marketing strategy and execution across the organizationDevelop data-driven marketing programs that respect Indigenous valuesEstablish marketing best practices and build scalable capabilitiesManage marketing resources and budget effectivelyCoordinate marketing initiatives across product and service offeringsRequired Qualifications :
7+ years of marketing experience with demonstrated leadership abilitiesStrong track record in product marketing and brand developmentExperience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeep understanding of digital product marketingExperience working with Indigenous communities or organizationsProven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationshipsStrong analytical and strategic thinking capabilitiesPreferred Qualifications :
Experience marketing technology products or digital servicesUnderstanding of Indigenous governance and protocolsBackground in B2C, B2B, and B2G marketingExperience with crisis communications and issues managementDeep understanding of or willingness to learn Indigenous perspectivesSkills & Abilities :
Strong leadership and team collaboration capabilitiesExcellence in strategic planning and executionAbility to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectivelyStrong project management and organizational skillsData-driven approach to marketing measurementCultural sensitivity and awarenessAdaptability and innovative thinkingAbility to build consensus across diverse stakeholder groupsPreference may be given to well-qualified candidates who identify as Indigenous (First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or of Aboriginal descent).
