Job description

Job Title : Relief Pharmacist

Location : Spokane, WA

Pay Rate : $70 per hour

Contract Length : 10 weeks (likely to extend) (32 hours per week guaranteed)

Schedule : 8 : 00 AM - 9 : 00 PM

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Pharmacist to provide coverage for one of several pharmacies in the Spokane area. This is a contract position with a competitive pay rate of $70 per hour.

Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the safe and effective dispensing of medications to patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries.
  • Verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Oversee pharmacy operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Assist in managing inventory and ordering pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff to maintain a smooth workflow.

Requirements :

  • At least one year of Pharmacist experience.
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of assignment.
  • Bachelor's degree (BS / BA) in Pharmacy or Doctoral degree (PHARM.D.).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription verification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations.
