Job Summary

The Project Lead, Engineering (PLE) supports the clients Engineering Services department by coordinating engineering activities for capital sustainment and other projects. Acting as the central point of contact between Project Management (PMO), Operations, and engineering disciplines, the PLE ensures alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables. This role focuses on coordination, not design responsibility, while driving communication, documentation control, and milestone achievement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering resources across multiple disciplines to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with Engineers of Record (EORs) to maintain schedules and manage scope changes.
• Organize and lead project engineering meetings; track deliverables using Primavera or similar tools.
• Ensure timely documentation for shop, field, and energization requirements.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with PMO, EORs, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical/project management experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in engineering or construction project management.
• Professional registration (EIT, P.Eng.) considered an asset.

Skills

• Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, Asana, Jira).

Knowledge

• Knowledge: Understanding of engineering processes, documentation control, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
