Job Description
Mission
Contribute to the design and delivery of sustainable, resilient water infrastructure in the Metro Vancouver region by supporting multidisciplinary civil-water engineering teams through high-quality design work, technical analysis, coordination, and field insight.
Main Responsibilities
Actively participate in the engineering design and preparation of drawings and specifications
Participate in the realization of studies or technical reports
Support in Project & Utilities Coordination
Assist in completing design activities, calculations, engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory applications throughout the projects.
Assist Project Managers in project control and project administration throughout the projects.
Using advanced computer software and technologies support in design and engineering drawings production
Solve technical problems requiring research and in-depth analysis
Support compliance with the quality assurance system
Conduct site inspections as required to monitor construction progress
Contribute to proposal preparation and business development initiatives
Develop visual presentations
Qualifications
Profile
Bachelor's degree student in civil engineering
Mastery of design and calculation tools
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Knowledge of software : MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD (an asset), Civil 3D (an asset)
Excellent ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
Highly organized with ability to prioritize tasks and proactively report on work progress
Good communication and writing skills.
The salary for this position ranges from $24.63 to $30.05 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile."
