ABOUT
Our Lady of Mercy in Burnaby is looking for a Grade 5 teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Our Lady of Mercy is a dynamic school . We love technology, art, and learning together! We have a supportive administrative team and staff. Our philosophy is happy teachers mean happy students, and happy students mean happy parents! Come check us out!
There is no one person or group who can take credit for the success of our school. The staff at Our Lady of Mercy is energetic, hard-working and creative. They work together as a team and are constantly sharing and learning. Parents are actively involved and can be seen on the yard, in the classrooms, in the library and in the office. They stand behind all that we do and their support is invaluable. We have an outstanding pastor who plays an active role in school and in shaping the spiritual life of the students.
The classroom teacher is responsible for teaching the Ministry Curriculum and assessments. Music, PE, Tech, and French are taught by specialist. We have a wide array of extra-curricular activities, including, sports and fine arts. I look forward to having a discussion with the candidate on the gifts and talents he or she can bring to OLM.
