Position: Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM)

Responsibilities
Forklift Operations: Safely and efficiently operate a counterbalance forklift for the movement, stacking, and retrieval of diverse products (various shapes and sizes) throughout the warehouse.
Manual Handling: Execute general labor duties, including the manual lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Shipping/Receiving: Support the loading and unloading of trucks, guaranteeing the accurate and swift handling of inbound and outbound goods.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform mandatory daily inspections of equipment and immediately report any mechanical faults or maintenance requirements.
Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure streamlined operations and timely completion of customer orders.
Inventory Control: Assist with physical inventory counts and maintain precise documentation of stock movement.

Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
Certification: Possession of a valid forklift license is essential.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience within a warehousing or logistics environment is strongly preferred.
Physical Ability: Must be able to perform physical General Labour duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Safety Training: Successful completion of all required Randstad 4safe training (WHMIS, Dangerous Goods, Health and Safety) is mandatory prior to starting.
Essentials: Must own and wear steel-toed boots and a safety vest.
Logistics: Reliable transportation to and from the Mount Pearl location is required.
