Job Description
- Ensuring that all maintenance is performed in a safe and technically correct manner.
- Maintaining a mixed fleet of equipment capable to serve the customers changing needs
- Provide leadership and direction to the internal maintenance team, external vendors and suppliers to ensures that work is completed efficiently and inline with the Mills schedules.
- Providing technical guidance for both corrective and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensure the correct tools and resources are available for the Maiantence team.
- Management of short and long term maintenance planning, and completion of planned activities efficiently within budget.
- Significant technical input and creation of scope of work for major repairs.
- Assisting maintenance workers and sub-contractors in performing diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Provide guidance and training to members of the maintenance crew
Qualifications
Read, write and communicate in EnglishPost-secondary education in related field or mechanic's license3 years plus Maintenance supervisory experience of Heavy Mobile Equipment, Static Processing Plant, Locomotive and / or Gantry Cranes and / or3 years plus Maintenance supervisory experience in a fast-paced customer oriented service support environment and / or3 years plus Maintenance supervisory experience in a Steel Mill, quarry, mining, rolling stock, major construction or material processing environment and / orSound mechanical knowledge of the following types of equipment Medium and Large Wheel Loaders, Scraper Tractors, Diesel Locomotive, Gantry Crane, Material Processing plants would be beneficialAdditional Information
