Paul Davis is currently looking for an Accountant / Budget Administrator in Lethbridge

We are looking for someone with experience in accounting including accounts payable accounts receivable and payroll. This position also includes responsibilities in estimating and oversight of budgets on various construction and restoration projects. Working well with internal staff and our customers is important in this role.

Candidates for this position should :

Be self-motivated

Like working with people and have good communication skills

Be organized and enjoy working with numbers

Carry themselves in a professional manner

Work well in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Have experience with standard accounting practise

Have experience with and understand accounting principles and procedures.

Experience in these in areas is a positive :

Construction costs and budgeting

QuickBooks

Restoration software such as Xactimate Xactanalysis and RMS / Dash

Previous experience in the insurance industry an asset

Qualifications :

Solid interpersonal skills with strong customer service orientation

IICRC certifications is an asset but not required

A degree in accounting

Training in Project Management or Construction is an asset but not required

Compensation is competitive with the industry and based in experience and skills.
