JOB DESCRIPTIONData Entry ClerkJob Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a data entry clerk.
The primary responsibility of this role is to input and maintain data accurately and efficiently into our company's database system.
Responsibilities : Input data from various sources into computer systems and databases accurately and efficiently.Verify data by comparing it to source documents and make necessary corrections.
Update existing data as needed.Compile and sort information to prepare source data for computer entry.Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all data by adhering to company policies and procedures.in generating reports and preparing data for analysis as requested.
Respond to inquiries regarding entered data.Maintain accurate records of completed work and time spent on tasks. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role.Proficient in using computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent typing skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of data entry best practices and confidentiality standards.Preferred Qualifications : Experience with database management systems (e.
g., MySQL, Oracle).Familiarity with data processing software (e.g., SAP).- Previous experience in a related industry (e.g.
