As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide supervision for a multidisciplinary team, supporting clinicians to deliver excellence in professional practice and enable quality, patient and family‑centered care. Your responsibilities include observing clinical sessions, reviewing documentation, conducting team case consultations, and offering guidance to clinical staff with challenging and urgent cases. You may work with psychiatrists, community partners, and interdisciplinary teams to support effective collaborative practice, contribute to planning, implementation and evaluation of mental health treatment services, and identify and address gaps in clinical practice.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Active or eligible for full registration (not provisional) with the applicable regulatory college.Minimum of 5 years’ experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention.Additional Required Qualifications
Completion of one of the following programs will also be considered : Master’s degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.Full Registration with the respective regulatory college under the Health Professions Act, including authorization to perform psychosocial interventions.Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS‑HCP).Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention.Minimum of 5 years of relevant mental health experience, preferably in a community setting.Knowledge and experience with providing individual and group psychotherapy using evidence‑based modalities, preferably in a community setting.Knowledge and experience treating individuals experiencing addiction (substance and / or process).Strong communication skills including conflict management and resolution.Clear understanding of the change management process.Ability to ambulate, climb stairs, and move quickly without limitations in a variety of environments.Possession of a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a vehicle in good working order for work‑related travel.Candidate must be able to tolerate regular repetitive hand movements, keyboarding and telephone handling.This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1 2024. Extensive knowledge of the resources of Addiction and Mental Health and the community.Strong understanding of client resources in the community and knowledge of mental health legislation including Community Treatment Orders.Strong skill set with electronic medical recording (EMR / Connect Care).Maintains professional discipline specific competency through ongoing professional development.Seniority level : Mid‑Senior level
