RESPONSABILITITES
As a Mechanical and Electrical coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination of the mechanical and electrical requirements for the project. This includes reviewing the project scope of work and directing the subcontractors in the installation of the M&E components
Key Responsibilities :
- M&E General Conditions Requirements : Ability to plan organize and execute the project requirements for temporary Mechanical, Electrical services, including temporary power, water, sewer, gas, and heating;
- Planning & Scheduling : Understand and assist in the development of project schedule and ability to establish priorities. Identifies critical components and ensures accurate resource to meet project goals. Able to adapt schedule to changing site conditions. Proactively monitors procurement schedule to ensure timely delivery within project requirements, revises and communicates schedule changes to stay on course;
- Contract Management : Knowledge and understanding of M&E contracts in relation to the project requirements. Ability to apply contract administration methods to uphold contract terms and conditions;
- Planning & Coordination : Organize and facilitate M&E Coordination and Interference Meetings : Pre-construction meetings with individual subcontractors (take minutes), organize and chair trade specific meetings;
- Commissioning : Responsible for organizing, planning, and scheduling the commissioning program to facilitate smooth and timely turnover of mechanical / electrical systems in accordance with project requirements, including project close-out requirements;
- Proposal and estimation : Provide assistant in reviewing the Mechanical and Electrical scope during proposal and bids.

REQUIREMENTS
Education : University Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering;Experience : Minimum 3 - 5 years experience with M&E Coordination, preferably in the Construction industry;3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction;bilingual French-English both orally and in writing (an asset)proficient in MS Office and MS Project software;LEED accreditation is an asset;Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, estimating, drawings and specifications, building material and required standards applicable to discipline.SKILLS AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED

EXIGENCES être titulaire d’un baccalauréat en génie civil ou de la construction et / ou combinaison d’expérience & de formation équivalente; être membre de l’Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec; posséder un minimum de 15 ans d’expérience pertinente; détenir de fortes aptitudes en communication; posséder une expérience pertinente en réalisation de projet d’envergure de plus de 30 millions; le bilinguisme (un atout important); certification PMP ou PA LEED (un atout). PROFIL RECHERCHÉ fortes aptitudes en gestion, négociation, communication et résolution de problèmes; savoir faire preuve d’initiative et de leadership; avoir de l’Intérêt et la capacité à encadrer et coacher les autres; capacité à gérer plus d’un projet à la fois; sens des priorités; maîtrise des logiciels MS Office et MS Project; aimer le travail d’équipe; posséder un bon sens de l’organisation et une bonne méthode de travail; être doté d’un bon esprit d’analyse, facilité d’adaptation et ouverture d’esprit; organisé, structuré et rigoureux.
