We are looking for an Insurance Broker (Client Service Representative) to join our Aviation team in our Montreal office!

If you're passionate about aviation and want to work in a specialized property and casualty insurance niche, the position of Insurance Broker will meet your expectations.

As a Client Service Representative, you will be responsible for working with the Regional Aviation Practice Leader to provide quality service to customers, colleagues and insurers, and to achieve the company's objectives.

Your day as a Client Service Representative

  • Gather and review underwriting information provided by customers. Update underwriting reports;
  • Obtain insurance quotes from insurers and present them to customers;
  • Review documents;
  • Prepare billing instructions and collect accounts receivable in collaboration with the accounting department;
  • Respond to customer requests for insurance certificates;
  • Follow-up and analyze policies, endorsements and invoices;
  • Assist customers with claims and follow up with insurers;
  • Organize and follow up on deliverables and deadlines for filing in EPIC.
  • Our ideal candidate

  • University degree preferably in Business Administration or Finance.
  • 2 years' experience in insurance brokerage with Property and Car insurance knowledge.
  • Experience in the aviation industry or aviation knowledge is an asset.
  • Insurance broker's license issued by AMF or in the process of obtaining a license.
  • Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English, as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and customers) outside Quebec.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, quality and deadlines.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
